Come explore the plants, animals and history of this unique site located near the intersection of C-470 and Wadsworth Blvd. in Littleton. Our program includes professional aerospace knowledge courses and flight training provided by Certified Flight Instructors to earn FAA certifications. Participants become a Teacher Envoy with free museum membership and direct access to guest speakers, statewide aviation programs, and educational opportunities including a quarterly Aerospace Alley teacher's reception.
Wings Aerospace Pathways (WAP) focuses on aerospace skills and experiences that prepare participants in grades 6-12 for careers in aerospace and beyond. The focus on hands-on, experiential learning in real-world context allows students to find out, first hand, what it takes to succeed in the aerospace industry. STEM concepts relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored. The lecture, labs and exercises will cover many "CSI" topics including: collecting, analyzing and classifying fingerprints, creating & examining blood spatter patterns, casting footprints, and so much more.... This is a very hands-on and interactive enrichment class for students. Current or former Detectives teach this class. Pls register at least 10 days before the class start as we mail each participant their own CSI Lab Kit to conduct the STEM experiments as the class unfolds.
